S.E.A. Aquarium Singapore — A Window Into the Ocean's Depths

The S.E.A. Aquarium (Southeast Asia Aquarium) at Resorts World Sentosa is one of the world's most impressive marine attractions. Home to more than 100,000 marine animals from over 1,000 species, it takes visitors through 10 distinct ocean realms from the shallow reefs of the Malacca Strait to the mysterious Open Ocean depths.

The Crown Jewel — Open Ocean Habitat

The Open Ocean habitat is unforgettable. A single tank containing 18 million litres of water, viewed through a panel 36 metres wide and 8.3 metres tall. Standing before this wall of glass watching manta rays, zebra sharks, and giant groupers move through the deep blue water is one of the most profound natural experiences in Singapore.

The 10 Ocean Realms

Strait of Malacca and Andaman Sea — Colourful reef fish, batfish and groupers of the incredibly biodiverse Malacca Strait corridor.

Bay of Bengal and Laccadive Sea — Rare species including the walking shark and prehistoric horseshoe crab.

The Shark Seas — Dedicated realm for zebra sharks, nurse sharks, and whitetip reef sharks with overhead viewing tanks.

Open Ocean — The centrepiece. Manta rays, sharks, and hundreds of species in 18 million litres of water viewed through the world-famous giant panel.

Dive Shows and Feeding Demonstrations

Regular dive shows and feeding demonstrations run throughout the day. Watching a diver hand-feed manta rays in the Open Ocean is truly unforgettable. Check the daily schedule at the information desk on arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions

You will need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your sailing date. Singapore residents do not need a visa for Malaysia or Thailand for short visits. Always carry a printed or digital copy of your booking confirmation.

For 2-night sailings, booking 4-8 weeks in advance is usually sufficient. For 3 and 4-night sailings, especially during school holidays, we recommend booking 2-3 months ahead. The earlier you book, the better the cabin selection and pricing.

Cancellation policies vary by cruise line and how close to the sailing date you cancel. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before sailing incur a smaller penalty, while cancellations within 14 days may forfeit the full fare. We recommend purchasing travel insurance.
